Three Generations of Living On the Land: Sharing the Knowledge

About the work When I look at these photographs I think about my family's way of life. My grandmother and grandfather spent their lives hunting, fishing and trapping. Ten years ago they moved to the city. My father, Philip, was born on the trap line on Reindeer Lake in Northern Saskatchewan. He went to residential school and eventually found employment in the city. I always have lived in the city, but like my grandmother and father I still am very close to the land. - Janice Morin
